In-App Purchases on Windows Store

Before you begin

When you make purchases on the Windows Store, you'll need to add a payment method to your Microsoft account. Here’s how to add a credit card, debit card, bank account, PayPal account, or mobile phone as a new payment method for your Microsoft account.

Add a payment method

1. Sign in to the Payment options page with your Microsoft account. If you can't sign in, try troubleshooting issues with your Microsoft account.
2. Select Add a new payment method.
3. Select the type of payment method you want to add, add your info, and select Save.

If you have a payment method for your Microsoft account that you're no longer using, or that has expired, you can remove it.

1. Sign in to the Payment options page with your Microsoft account. If you can't sign in, try troubleshooting issues with your Microsoft account.
2. Find the payment method you want to remove, and then select Remove.
3. Confirm that you want to remove your payment method, and then select Remove.
